Path 4 – Entrepreneurship

We believe engaging our kids in Entrepreneurship at our school is critical to their life-success.  The skills entrepreneurs acquire and use on a daily basis are invaluable life-skills that can benefit all successful adults.  Students’ imaginations are stretched as they compete with themselves and each other to master these skills. We challenge students to express their innate creativity in various projects and activities. Path 4 of The Academy Way is Entrepreneurship.

Students participate in a virtual Entrepreneurship class every Friday that is led by our founder, Jimmy Arispe. Jimmy lends his invaluable experience as an educational entrepreneur in creating various for-profit and non-profit entities to teach the life and business skills he has learned throughout his 25+ years in education.

Additionally, we utilize the NoticeAbility curriculum and work of Dean Bragonier with our younger students in 3rd – 5th grade. Please watch Dean talk about his own dyslexia and how he uses it to his advantage.

We are really excited to learn about and to teach Entrepreneurship at our school.

Structured Literacy

We utilize the Wilson Reading System or S.P.I.R.E. Reading Program to teach all of our children how to read and spell.

Year-Round Calendar

We believe keeping our kids engaged in school each month throughout a calendar year is the best approach to ensure they continually progress with their learning.

Individual Attention

Giving kids individual attention is really important at our schools.

At all of our schools, we begin every single day with Life-Coaching.
